Writing for Self-Discovery:

Using Active Imagination and Dream Work in Your Writing

Three Nights: April, 2019

“First come dreams, then comes reality.”
-- C. G. Jung

The Goal: To develop greater personal closeness with confidence, clarity, ability, expression & grace, regardless of your artistic modality. You will become a better writer, regardless of where you are now. This is a small, safe container for dissolving a few fears while gaining interior trust and fitness of soul.

The Process: Introduction to interactive writing prompts, structures, organization of thoughts, understanding discernment, building competency in being heard and in listening to peers. Active Imagination and dream work are two skills of personal engagement with the individual soul. Each class will focus on developing these skills, with application toward writing and self-discovery.

The Philosophy: Jungian depth psychology where listening to dreams, visions, images, patterns, recurring choices, desires and longings contribute to knowing the difference between ego and soul, while learning the boundaries of being wanted versus being worthy.
